Edges - Hi Formica-very impressed with your new stuff. I am considering this product for part of our kitchen in a new build. If we choose a Marbella edge on a light coloured laminate like this one, does it show seams at the sides?
Thank you! »
I have a large sample of this "carerra marble" Formica countertop. We have a large beautiful dark wood work table island that will be used in the kitchen and the perimeter of countertops will be in a different countertop material. We like Carerra but are afraid of the maintenance. Does anyone know if the Formica marble will look like real marble countertops are just a cheesy imitation? How about just using the Formica just as a backsplash? Thank you for any advice you can give! »
? - I used to sell this countertop and have seen it on a 12 ft top. I believe that the repeat is 8 ft. This countertop is available at Lowes and Home Depot. It has a lot of depth to it and looks more real depending on what edge that you choose. Keep in mind, if you have a square edge on the front or the backsplash, there will be a dark seam that shows, which kind of defeats the purpose. The best edge to use would be one that wraps and leave off the backsplash all together. »
