gmoney1 I would really like to know the measurements of the shower. And any tips you can provide me while I install it, something that would help me along the way instead of discovering after the fact experience is golden and years are the only way anything would be very appreciated thanks in advance
Helios Design Group This is a custom 1/2" glass shower panels and door. The panels are pinned top and bottom, and the door is hinged to the left panel. Notice how the shower door doesn't go all the way to the ceiling, though the panels do. This allows for a little steam to escape.
shower door support - Do you know how is this shower door supported? Just on the 2 hinges you can see attached to the side panel? I have always been told by shower door installer that you need some wall next to the door to support it. »
Helios Design Group Yes, it's just supported by the two hinges, hinged to the adjacent glass panel. You can do this with sturdier glass - the panels are clipped top and bottom the the enclosure.
Line the shower. Natural materials can be tricky to use inside the shower due to wetness, so often the shower feels a bit cold in comparison. Warm it up by flanking it with wooden cabinetry with a rich, textured stain. You’ll love the look and the storage.
4. Take a page out of kitchen-cabinet efficiency. The cabinets on either side of this shower are roll-out cabinets. We often see this kind of thing in kitchen pantry cabinets, where a roll-out organizer lets you reach things stored in the back of a deep cabinet. Without the roll-out function, the full depth on either side of this shower wouldn't be easy to access.
