Sarah Greenman Thanks! The rug was a gift from my mother. She found it on sale at a fair trade store in Santa Rosa, CA called Kindred. Here is their site: http://www.kindredhandcrafts.com
Valerie McCaskill Dickman Hi there! According to Sarah, the black and white pillow cases (22"x22") are from IKEA. The smaller Suzani print ones (16"x16") are actually faced with napkins that she found on sale at Cost Plus World Market. She sewed them using an old green curtain as backing. She's a talented one! Here is a post from her blog where she shows the DIY project of the napkin pillows:
The living area features a mix of secondhand furniture, bold textiles and framed prints by Leo Posillico. VMD: Do you have a favorite designer?SG: I love Steven Gambrel for his soothing, heavily textured, monochromatic interiors. His work is really bold and yet still very livable. I also love Isabel Lopez Quesada. Her interiors always have a lived-in look and yet manage to feel elegant and rustic at the same time. I also love her choice of artwork for her spaces. It’s always very playful and energetic — sometimes in stark contrast to the space.
Yo que tengo tantas ganas de una mesa, utilizando la base de una máquina de coser, en esta propuesta la utilizan como mesa auxiliar y, además, le colocan una balda interior, genial, no?
