In a downtown home, every bit of space counts. This basement family room and bar is no exception.
Our aim was to create a luxurious space that would be as enjoyable as the rest of this home. Utilizing odd spaces under the stairs, we incorporated a bar, built-in Kitchen & Co. cabinetry, and a focal point containing the television with decorative wallpaper and Emperador Dark stone detailing.
A sectional and ottoman utilizing a woven fabric and contrast piping continue the stylized feel of this space.

Cost - I have a blank wall that has a bathroom on the other side so there is existing plumbing in the wall. Any idea of how much it would cost to install a wet bar like this including tying into the existing plumbing? »
BiglarKinyan Design Partnership Inc. It is 6' wide and just over 2' deep (return walls are 26" deep - vanities are 23-3/4" deep plus 7/8" door thickness plus 1/2" counter overhang).
Perfection. - I was just curious what something like this runs? I know the wine refrigerators can be around $2,000, but I'm clueless on the dry bar cost itself. We are first time home owners so any help would be appreciated! Thank you! »
simple dry bar inset, would widen layout to include add builtin micro wave for theater popcorn, and maybe a second full size frig for juice boxes and icee pops, and bbq marinating for walk out deck - bbq area. maybe hidden appliance garage for guest bedroom coffee pot - need plug ins on backsplash or hidden.
