A glimpse into the space...
Renovation of a condo in the renowned Museum Tower bldg for a second generation owner looking to update the space for their young family. They desired a look that was comfortable, creating multi functioning spaces for all family members to enjoy, combining the iconic style of mid century modern designs and family heirlooms.

The original kitchen door was cumbersome metal; the new one is custom and lets natural light into the entry hall.
Sometimes it's actually hard to find that perfect paint shade of white. The unit is painted in "Marscapone" AF-20 from the Benjamin Moore Affinity collection, which is Kristen's favorite white.

In a hallway: When I interviewed this designer, she said this door used to be a depressing metal one, which made the entryway to the apartment very dark. She replaced it with this custom made, Asian-inspired door.
