John Lum Architecture, Inc. AIA I'm not sure there is a specific 'style' to call this, but the wood slats are a screen treatment. When on the wall, they are applied as a rain screen, not a water-proofing element. The wood is Ipe.
The apparent mass of this two-unit corner building has been reduced by articulating its facade in two halves: the left side is solid and metal while the right side is more open with wood slats and large windows.
