caranm This could be a porcelain tile by Country Floors called Brera Brick, 4x24. It gives the look -- albeit a little more refined -- and great texture of travertine, but is not porous and so works well for a backsplash. I just came upon this at a local stone supplier this weekend and plan to use it in just this application.
milissa5m ok, I figured it out by reading the questions asked from the other pictures in this series, it is from Top Cu Tile and Stone - Ivory Strips honed.
amberrongey the designer said in a different question this is persian peal. though if you are looking for a nice white granite with the black veining, delacatus is beautiful. definitely not in the same price point as santa cecilia though.
Le Reve Design & Associates I am in SF Bay Area and sell a material just like this. It is has random lengths and widths in the pattern. This color looks like what the vendor calls "Myra", but the pattern "Kragos" comes in 9 colorways.
Hood - I have a similar hood with a vaulted ceiling. Where do I stop the hood without going all the way to the 14 ft ceiling? ....at top of cabinets? I am just using hood as decoration....do NOT need it to function . »
