Carolyn Albert-Kincl Design Fortunately for you, this is not a mirror you buy at a store, because it would be quite expensive. Instead it's one you create yourself!
You choose a wall somewhere in your house, then get a handyman, husband, friend, or yourself, to buy the proper trim pieces (the white painted wood) from a lumber yard and attach them to your wall. Then you call your local glass/mirror company to come measure for and install the mirror. And there you have it! Nothing magical, nothing too expensive, just a bit of thought and elbow grease. Enjoy your project!

Pendant lights over kitchen island - Im installing 3 pendant lights over my very large kitchen island and my decorator suggests that the middle light should hang higher than the two on the side to preserve the openness of the room. That sounds reasonable to me but I'm nervous about that because I've never seen pictures or heard of anyone else doing that. My style is very traditional, if that matters. What is your opinion? »
