Style On a Shoestring I'm sorry I don't have the dimensions of this room available any longer; however, I would guess it's 14' x 16' roughly.

Style On a Shoestring The mantle is not pure black it is a very dark brown. The stone work and mantle were already painted and tiled when we completed the room so I don't have any further information to share unfortunately.

mjalt I have 4 large dogs & 2 cats :) The rug has held up very well. Doesn't show any spots in 2 years of heavy use. It is in our main living area. Do be advised my rug did shed quite heavily for the first year. It is much better now, Weekly vacuuming is sufficient. I would buy it again in a heartbeat. Love it. Also have a smaller one same pattern in front of my kitchen sink. I've had lots of spills, BBQ sauce included and it has always just scrubbed right up. Hope this helps.
