Niki Papadopoulos That is the classic and always beautiful Saarinen dining table, or the "Tulip Table." It was designed in 1956 and is considered a "modern classic"--it was designed to "clear up the slum of legs in the U.S. home." Basically one of the first modern pedestal tables. The only real ones are distributed by Knoll and available through Design Within Reach in two different sizes and different table top options:
