John Lum Architecture, Inc. AIA There are many types of glass block out there, and yes, many of them will provide a silhouette however they tend to distort which can be a plus in this type of situation. Try going to a supplier and choose several of them to see how they affect light at night.

John Lum Architecture, Inc. AIA There are quite a few options, depending on your window details, and the trim throughout the bathroom. You could wrap the return in the same tile as the wall - similar to the bathroom in this image.

This bathroom is safely tucked into one of my own inspiration ideabooks for favorite bathrooms. A huge area of glass block lets in abundant light while preserving privacy. Flat metal bars running from backsplash to ceiling hold the mirrors in place.
