Brian Schiltz The windows were provided by Town & Country Glass in Long Beach. They are all storefront type. I built this home and then relocated to the Atlanta area 4 years later. Building now in Atlanta t-Olive Properties.
Oh the fireplace! The view! What more is there to say? This bed keeps the room minimalist without sacrificing convenience and comfort. The headboard allows for very comfortable sitting and movie watching--especially with a throw and reading material close at hand.
Who'd ever want to hide this view? For all windows, but especially those that you prefer not to cover, the magic word is "caulk." Caulking around your door and window frames is an inexpensive project that can reduce air infiltration and cut your energy costs.
Choose a bed that is beautiful from the back. When your bed will be seen from all sides, you don't want an unfinished MDF back showing! This fully upholstered headboard looks great and it provides a comfortable place to lean back. The little side table is placed behind it, but the headboard is low enough to reach over to get the books. Their lighting comes from ceiling spots.
Tip: If you don't have a lamp next to your bed, you might want to check into having a remote control so you can turn off the room lights without getting out of bed.
I need a TV on in the bedroom for background noise, otherwise my brain is too active with its thoughts for me to sleep. I love this bedroom. I dont think you could ever get me to leave it!
the space, it feels fresh and open without constrictions, the feeling of being free is accentuated by the open view of the beautiful scenery. to conclude it in a sentence it feels like you can breath easily.
