If you want the look of mid century, or any other iconic furniture period, there are other ways to get the look besides hitting a knock off site. Find a fixer upper or a no name on ebay or craigslist and really make it your own. Spend the time to refinish or refurbish the piece, or be satisfied with having an authentic no name. That's my point of view, and I'm sticking to it.
