Birdseye Design The door image, as well as all other photos posted, are not for copying but for inspiration.
The doors, as shown, would be impossible to make for 1000.00.
Custom Home Planning Center I would agree that they as done are worth much more than a grand pre hung. I also know that a pre cut Slab form and for diy assemble would be less. It,s all in the cost of labor, materials, overhead and shipping. You are always encouraged to contact the individuals who are inspired by your photos. Houzz.com photo are also part of an education process for users. A set of construction drawings and specification for a project like this might be a good product to make available. The project could be as simple as pre cut 2 x 3 and 2 x 2 to finish with a pre drilled dowel holes to stack glue and clamp. Or if you have access to a large scale D&C routing table to pre cut assembled 5/4 slabs for either side of a foam core panel while pre morticing the unit for future assemble.
Good work is copied and emulated by those that come after us and it should be considered a complement. The value may be in doing a custom design and being paid for all that entails or copyrighting and sell plans and specifications so the next person doesn't make
a mess trying to relearn how did a great job.
Example I do furniture designs for one firm that in one case is selling 1 a week. I didn't charge them for the design, but I do get a % of gross after they have sold 50 units. Most will not make this level, but there is a satisfaction of seeing that the design is appreciated.
alliray Birdseye Design, everything made by man has a price tag. These doors are beautiful and whoever made them is truly gifted. These photos were placed on houzz for inspiration, promotion and eye candy, so if someone wishes to obtain one like this or close to it, i don't see why you can't give an idea of the cost. Believe me, there are persons who can and will afford it if they want it bad enough. Are your pieces one of a kind? Are they copyrighted? Are they made according to inspiration? in which case it's difficult to make a copy? Whatever the reason, please say so that those of us who really appreciate your wonderful doors could stop asking price etc.
Birdseye Design Thanks for your kind words. If you are such a person who has the means and time to invest in a design from me, then I am happy to speak to you on the phone about a unique door design.
The arrival to this house stresses calm, be it in the reflecting pool, stone walkway, and wood walls, columns, and roof overhand. The water is actually tied to a feature that collects rainwater and moves it via a series of terraces around the house.
These double doors are great for the way the randomly composed vertical inserts hint at what is happening on the other side. Here is a view from outside in the evening ...

8. Painted glass-front cabinets. These cabinet doors are frameless, and the glass has been painted on the back side to maintain a wonderful glossy finish.
This particular application is referred to as a factory finish. Heavy-duty epoxy paint is uniformly applied to the reverse side of the glass in a controlled environment to prevent imperfections. The end result is a perfect finish, seen through the other side of the glass.
