debby1979 don't know what brand this particular rug is, but look into the Limited Edition collection (www.limitededition.be) - they do tufted customization so if you're looking to work with an abstract patern, they are the brand you need! Made in Belgium (their history in tapestry goes back to the mid-ages! ;) ) and represented in the US by D'apostrophe in NYC (www.dapostrophe.net)

Sound travels, so all this open space can create audio issues. Add in a lot of windows, high ceilings and hard surfaces such as glass, steel and granite, and sound just bounces around. The more the volume gets turned up, the more noise you hear and the less clear the sound. Dialogue becomes difficult to understand, and music loses its fidelity.
