tennismom4 Thanks so much for your quick response. I am looking at putting a splash pool or a spool in our back yard for this reason - to not have to put up a fence, keep this built into the patio area near the house, but to also be able to swim a little and exercise in. Do you feel what you put in your back yard would meet these goals? I am just trying to get an idea of how much a person would actually use a splash pool - any insight would be great!
Kirk Wood Homes Spool...I like that! We had to put in a fence. We already had a privacy fence in the rear & then we built a "live fence" going down the side. You cant even see it anymore because the ligustrum has grown in so well. We love our "spool" best improvement we have made to our home! We swim almost everyday!
Is this slate with cement? - Currently my home has a lot of slate surrounding the pool- it has been there for 20+ years and the slate was just place on what looks ilke loose small stone. The stones are large and at all different levels now and always have weeds growing between which is frustrating and also looks messy. We want to redo the area but with it being so large it will be extremely expensive if we go any other route other than using the slate. »
Kirk Wood Homes Yes I bet that is frustrating....we have bluestone with morter.....I would definately re-use your slate...thanks for looking let me know if you have any other questions.
