Create a boardless board. Huh? Start with a few framed favorites and then let your wall composition fill up from there. This wall looks like it was built up organically over time.
Create an inspiration wall. Inspiration walls are much needed if you like to spend your free time clipping magazines or tend to accumulate small paper items. Be sure to keep a bin of tacks nearby so you don't end up with endless piles all over the place.
Your wall need not grow up. It can grow horizontally and incorporate framed artwork that also inspires you. Gaps of empty wall space will be filled in over time with smaller images, but the larger framed artwork will always ground the framework of your pin wall.

No matter the size, the lighting and the furniture you put in it, your space will feel like home if it reflects you. You will actually want to work in an environment that is full of things that inspire you and your business. An easy way to do this is with your own artwork and other collections. This wall functions like an inspiration board, where the artist can organically add things that speak to her.
12. Leave your walls open for inspiration. Keep wall space, even the back of the door, open for posting your best ideas and those ever-important reminders. Wiener recommends using whiteboards instead of blackboards to avoid dust allergens, and suggests hanging magnetic and cork strips to keep track of small paper items and office supplies.
