Smith & Vansant Architects PC Yes, there is a more traditional looking fireplace on the backside of this fireplace which serves the screened porch. The two flues share the same chimney and there is also a shared ash dump in the crawlspace.
Where can I buy the bench, table, and chairs? - I have been looking for a cafe-style, comfy-bench kitchen nook for years. This blue-leather + retro table top is just sublime. Please give information about buying it. Thanks. »
You might have to look twice at this photo to see all the see-through elements. This space fits a dining room, a living room, a stairwell, a kitchen and a balcony. Why doesn't it looked like a crowded dorm room? See-through storage. Open shelving divides the dining room from the entryway yet leaves the sight lines open all the way to the stairs. The open banisters upstairs add to the light and the feeling of open yet distinct spaces.
I really love the extra storage between both rooms. It's functional and does not completely break up the spaces, it alsol allows a nice flow throughout.
That fixture is the Polipo K6 pendant by Illuminating Experiences.
