carmelaami We at Ami design enterprises inc.also do CAD drawings of our custom designs. This grill was inspired by an art deco designer and we found a local metal fabricator thewas able to make our vision in to reality.
As for the fireplace surround it was imported from England from a showroom in the D&D bldg in NY called Chesney.
quatorze Beautifully crafted workmanship. I would think, in regard to the elegant grill that started the requests, that you would not even have to size it to a particular fireplace per se. It looks like it would go nicely even in larger fireplaces, and could be used much like French gilt bronze antiques, just set into the opening with iron supports running to the back. Of course, for petite fireplace openings, sizing is more of an issue/constraint. What size is the piece shown in the photo? What is the exact material, Nickeled bronze? Polished steel?
Here's a more Old-World stone mantel and matching stone (I'm guessing limestone or travertine). The hearth is raised off the floor and the slab material continues throughout the design.
3. Match metallics. Play off the same finishes or mix and match when you choose your fireplace screen. This screen's elegant scrolls play off the coordinating vases on the mantel as well as the coffee table. Tip: There is no hard and fast rule for how to balance metallic pieces around a room. Keep playing around with placements, taking a few steps back to see how your arrangements feel. If they feel off, keep tweaking them.
Designer. This high-style freestanding fireplace screen in polished chrome has an elegant look that's just the right touch for this perfectly accessorized interior. Tip: Place birch logs inside the fireplace opening for decoration and depth.
