Like the block window. Which is best for a shower application? Glass or Acrylic? - Any recommendations for window supply/installation companies?

Shower arm question.. - Hi, just wondering if you've ever had any issues with rainshower heads being too heavy for that arm length (20"?). I'm cosidering doing something similar but am afraid of it snapping at the elbow joint in the wall. Any thoughts? »
Rebekah Zaveloff | KitchenLab If you're asking should the shower door be as tall as the showerhead or taller..ideally yes, but the requires a custom height shower door. I've seen it done where the door was slightly lower than the shower head, but it works better if it's higher.
bepsf I disagree w Rebekah on this one...
Ceiling Mounted Rain Showerheads don't automatically mean a ceiling height glass enclosure - after all, there's going to be no splashing to be contained when the water isn't hitting anything on it's way down before it hits you.
I prefer shower enclosures that are at least as high as the occupants are tall - and going ceiling height is preferable for fixed panels in a space w normal ceiling heights, but in a high ceilinged space such as this, if the shower head were mounted in the ceiling, it wouldn't be necessary to go full height.
There was really no help needed in making this shower look large — it already is! But tiling all the way up to the pitched ceiling was still a smart choice. It doesn't force a break at the wall and it draws your eye all the way up to the circular window and beautiful beams.
