Smith & Vansant Architects PC Typical exterior window side casings on this house are 4 1/2 inches wide with a head casing of 5 1/2 inches.

Yes this is a genuine slate roof. It is Semi-Weathering Gray-Green, supplied by the Evergreen Slate Company in Pittsford, VT and installed by the Melanson Company.

We used Benjamin Moore's Penetrating Pecan Stain and sealed with Sunderland and Welles Exterior Polymerized Tung Oil in medium luster - the wood is Mahogany.

susanaldridge2000 No one seems to know the brown color for the trim and brown stain for the garage doors- but logically if the garage doors are mahogany then the dark brown on the windows must have been matched up to mahogany color of doors fro front and garage.
