What Houzz contributors are saying:
added by Margaret Everton to The Places You'll Go (Via Staircases)
"What light through yonder window breaks." These multi-level landings create an open feel to this awesomely-shaped hallway--and adds a very Shakespearean sort of balcony that connect every space of this dwelling.

Nothing is connected in a linear fashion. The staircases are disjointed a bit, but this adds interest and cohesiveness, I think. Each landing is a place to be instead of a way to get somewhere. I can't help but wonder, what is up the next staircase? I'm hooked.
