Sandy Koepke these walls are venetian plaster and then waxed. to find the right shade of paint for your room, you really have to test a few in big squares...in natural daylight, at night, etc....because the environment and ambient light will always affect colors. the same benjamin moore white will look a little different in every room... so start with chips, then test quarts. farrow and ball also has some beautiful whites.
seachange Thanks, Sandy! I appreciate the advice. White is tricky, isn't it? If it's too white it can come off cold and off-whites are often yellowish. Thanks for the tips!
