Craftsman Reinvention

Originally a 1950s circa brick and stone one story house, the home had undergone several eras of additions including a 1980s era second story with aluminum siding. Relocating the dining room to a one story addition served to open up the kitchen to allow for family interaction and to prepare meals and entertain together. A mix of painted cabinetry and cherry cabinetry were used to define work zones in the kitchen including a seating area, coffee bar, and wine area. The vaulted ceiling in the dining room adds volume and definition to the space.
