The path that leads up to the stone porch matches. I assume all of these rocks came from a local quarry back in the Victorian era. This would be another I WISH house for me!
This is the ultimate example of Shingle Style to me - check out the large stone base and posts, the roofline and the expansive porches, not to mention the setting.
This Shingle style home is seemingly built from the rocks on its site and anchored to its coastal landscape. Anchored in place, this home provides a perch over the rugged coast in true Shingle-style fashion.More: Capes Across AmericaHouzz Tour: Craft Modern Houzz Tour: Shingle Style Meets Soho on the Jersey Shore
