Austin Patterson Disston Architects The wood on the island is walnut and the cabinets are grey on the warm green side.

Adding a bit of wine storage to a kitchen island is a great idea - it's convenient (I'm always grabbing a bottle while I cook) and adds some interest to the island. In this case, the wine storage is kept well away from the oven, too, which keeps wine safely away from very high and fluctuating temperatures.
