Love the easy look of sheer Romans with the dark stained wood.

This beautiful open, airy library could have been very stuffy, but the use of light colored upholstery contrasts nicely with the dark wood of the 6' tall bookshelves. Eco-friendly furnishings, though transitional, work well in this somewhat traditional setting. An transparent acrylic desk contrasts with the rough-hewn coffee table made from sustainably-harvested wood and stained with an eco-friendly finish. Sheer roman shades constructed of organic linen sheer fabric allow the occupant to see the beautiful maple tree outside the window. Teal accents found in the grasscloth wallcovering, the area rug, the lamp and the throw pillows adds just enough color.
