Color blocking is an easy way to pull in some extra color and emphasize a simple black and white photo. We painted a large block of pumpkin orange to spruce up this bedroom.

What are the dimensions of this room? - I have a space for a bedroom in the construction of my home, and I am considering splitting it into two guest rooms with a similar shape/layout. Knowing the size of this room would help me know how practical it would be. Thanks! »
The Shabby Nest This tractor bedding is from Pottery Barn Kids but it is from a previous season and not currently available from PB Kids. You can find it online at ebay and other such sites.
Add interest to a typically framed photograph with another frame via color-block. On the white wall, this piece would have been lost; against the orange, it pops. This is also inexpensive!
Talk about dramatic! Here a block of orange paint highlights a small photograph framed with an oversized white mat. This is a children's room, so the orange color is a playful choice.
Clever "matte" idea, to paint a square on the wall behind a picture. Hate the orange, and the proportions of the photo here are off, but the idea is clever.
