Challenged with an odd shaped bedroom in our 1800's antique home, we created a built-in sleeping niche with storage underneath - providing additional room for a desk and seating area. Walls were done in a neutral BM Silver Fox - with red accents and nautical accessories. Pillows were made by Jamieson Interiors.

What size is the bed & was the it made to fit the room exactly or vise versa? »
I'd love to know where the bed is from! Is it custom made? - I haven't seen many which have drawers that pull out from the foot instead of wide side. This set up would be great since we're planning a guest nook the width of the entire bed! »
mdiscipio We had considered having something custom made however I found this at Ikea in the exact dimension that we needed. It's called Brimnes Bed with storage. $200
macau Oh, I see! So the drawers do pull out from the wide side and NOT the foot of the bed. Won't work for us since our space is so narrow. But thank you so much for the response!
Embrace the space. Slanted ceilings have their charm. Here the low angle creates a nook that feels cozy and all to yourself — just try doing the same thing in a vaulted room.
This bedroom faced a challenge similar to the one our nursery/guest room space faced: It's an odd shape and there is only one real spot for a bed. The bed's built-in storage drawers freed up space for the homeowners to create a desk and seating area.
Nests can be tiny.Notice this classic nest-like space that is confined on three sides (two walls and ceiling) with a vista through the window and across the room.
love the storage under the bed and this set up reminds me of whatthe bed would look like if in that corner where her big closet used to be. so cute tucked in like that
This reminds me of an apartment bedroom I'd once looked at. I like that though the walls are white, the dominant color is red. And the corner bed with drawers is adorable and practical, and sleek so it just tucks right away.
LOVE the pale gray walls in the small space. Might be perfect for our bathroom! That way it will look calm but crisp and all the towel and floor colors will pop, a nice dark wood framed mirror will stand out, white appliances will feel inviting... awesome!
