California Dreaming Great Room Fireplace

This modern California Great Room is the successful combination of textured surface finishes with the use of natural woven paper grass cloth, Ceasarstone, stainless steel, fumed European oak floors, fir wood ceilings and American walnut/lacquer custom casework designed by Alan Kosa Interiors. Wood framed glass shelves allow the low voltage lighting to illuminate the collectibles displayed. The ivory upholstery emphasizes the silhouette of the furniture.

closest example of wall unit, only very modern. - add simple 'sill' to mantle ledge, keep slick, monochrome face on entire wall. Try not to overshadow the decorative frame on face of fireplace... - NOTE: many examples show a stone 'shelf' below the window of about 4-5" thick...need to check clearance off floor and spacing availability???
