This is a full overlay, frameless cabinet with a 5 piece flat panel door and drawerface. It doesn't' mimic inset at all, as all the edges of the drawer faces/door faces are right beside each other instead of being individually "framed' by the face of the cabinet box.
It is a beautiful, traditional style kitchen though.

This is also done in smaller kitchens as face frames take up cabinet space it is also a way to save $ and still get that traditional look

This looks more like Carrea Marble to me.. You might want to look into that. I am leaning to put carrea Marble in my kitchen when I remodel next year.

try quartzite as a nice white option

I had to really work hard to find it. It goes under different names. Fantasy White, Supreme White, Absolute White but it is granite not marble.It was hard to find because it has become popular as an alternative to marble.It can also come in too jumpy and too grey. I was told the quarry in Brazil has limited supplies and the area they have been mining has brought much more grey tones. You have to work for it but it's worth it. After searching we bought a very uniform, much more white lot. Beautiful product that you can spill red wine on!

the subway is just a bevelled edge subway - most tile suppliers will have it in stock - it also is offered in different colours if needed

There is a rather inexpensive subway readily available, but if price is not so much of an issue I would steer you to Ann Sacks or Sonoma- they have the most beautiful colours and finishes available, and the tile itself is just beautifully made ( no comparison to the less expensive ones - I am using both types, but it really depends on the client which way we are giung when selecting tiles...).

Seems most often we see islands in an accent color. I'm considering accenting my island in a stained finish, and perhaps the hood/cooking area.

I'd like to know as well we just remodeled and haven't picked hardware yet. Our kitchen looks nearly exactly like this one and I'd like to use those knobs.

Try restoration hardware, they have the knobs exactly like these.

we just selected similar knobs to these, but I am not sure what finish to get....are the knobs on this island chrome or brushed nickle?

I believe that is a Wolf hood considering all the appliances are Sub-Zero and Wolf

Actually, I believe it is a Best by Broan hood. The giveaway is the lip of the hood. The Wolf hoods don't have the lip.

the Zephyr Tempest is the same style, it's difficult to tell because there are many variations and customization's of it.

I want to use this to and inspire my kitchen...not copy it......I will use the black cabinets and marble countertop and the stainless steel.....but adding cherry upper cabinets with a brushed metal backslpash

That looks like a standard square edge profile to me, with a radius on the corners.

Corners do have a radius, and the edge is eased.

The door style has a simple ogee framing bead and flat center panel.

Look like shaker style but you can go online to google and type in the search bar cabinet door style pics you should get close with this

No, nothing in granite that looks like that, but I recommend going for it if you like it. The only concern is etching from acid, but otherwise it's beautiful. If you get it honed, the etching is less noticeable.

Thanks for your quick response...under the "more info" its says "supreme white granite" but no one has anything with that name....any counter/backsplash ideas for shaker espresso brown cabs with contemporary pulls....looking for a clean look...dont love the busy granites..but want something non-porous for counter perimeters and something different on island...floor now is ceramic beige 18x18 for now...

Try looking under "super white." That is what it is called at the granite/marble store here.

A close up look might be mother of pearl. Doesn't look white or grey enough for super white or Carrara. Let me know if I can help

Can you see doing this same idea for espresso cabs/white quartz on perimeter and then a marble or something similar on island? I went to the marble place yesterday and didnt love anything except calacatta sponda but they were sold out...now I'm second-guessing my whole idea...If you think I should continue along these lines...should the white quartz be a stark white or something different...OR should I start from scratch with my brown cabs with contemporary pulls? H E L P! :)) Cant seem to find a granite that I like either...I would need a lite granite but hard to find...dont like the big brown/garnet spots that I have seen in the stores...:(((

It's available in polished nickel, industrial, three clips on the shade edge, one lever on the yoke.

The floor looks like a walnut stain, possibly on oak...and the island looks like an ebony on walnut. Gorgeous kitchen.

What does proprietary black color mean? Do you know the exact paint color name and brand?

Great kitchen! Take a look at Sherwin Williams' Dovetail, SW7018, for a match.

In most kitchens you want to have a unified theme, feel, and style throughout the entire space. Having matching kitchen appliances is one way to unite your kitchen as a whole.

While many would agree that different brand appliances are fine, the ability to match the colors would keep your kitchen less broken up visually.

While it is not a MUST, matching color kitchen appliances will provide a pulled together back drop for your cabinetry, counters, flooring, etc..

thank you Sheila. I would love to put these industrial type of chrome pendants over an island thinking I need 3 of them possibly this size. But, now what do I put over my kitchen table as it is very close would adding more of this type be to overkill? Hard finding island lighting and table lighting to match or not overdoing it. Suggestions?

I think any of their bell lamps or lanterns would look great with this industrial pendant, because they have the same materials but do not compete or clash at all. The glass is a softer look for a dining table.

Kimberlyn: Annie's right and Circo is a great place to start. Most manufacturers make pendants in a variety of sizes to accommodate any situation. The pendants shown fall under what's usually called a medium (8" to 10"). When you're thinking about how many to use, keep in mind that odd numbered groupings look better than even numbered ones do. Go for three of them instead of two or four and you'll do fine.
