J by Design The headboard to me looks like 3 combined shutters. Very simple to replicate using new wooden shutters. Taking paint and adding water and lightly rubbing on wood with a old piece of a t-shirt. May take a few coats to get desired look, then you may want to take a piece of sand paper to have a more reclaimed look.

Cynthia Taylor-Luce Those look real, but more and more I'm seeing in the stores wonderful reproductions, some quite frankly "faux", but much more appealing (to me as a vegetarian!) than the real thing. Some even have the whole "heads" attached, or you can get a horse's head or pig's head or various other animals made in ceramics and other materials. Afraid I can't tell you now where I've seen them however. But it is a current trend, for sure.

I could never hunt anything and I have an "uncomfortable" relationship with them but I loved my dad and he was a huge environmentalist who loved wildlife...So, they hang in my bedroom and guard me like a group of angels...
How did you hang your antlers? - I have a pair of antlers that I inherited. I would like to hang them on the wall, but don't want to mount them first as I think it would take away from the wildness of them. »
Ceiling, bench at foot of bed, high window...lets in light but maintains privacy...but maybe too bright in morning and hard to reach window covering to close?
