Bill Fry Construction - Wm. H. Fry Const. Co. Yes it is a natural stone. I would not recommend any polished stone for a bathroom floor because it can be slippery. :) Rhoda
Hi Rebekah..does this have any sparkle to it like the sample I saw in quartzite (antartica)..the sample I saw had purples hues and sparkles thru it...I wasnt sure if this would look good on an island with the espresso cabs/white cambria counters on perimeter...would u use in a contemporary kitchen? As you may know, I was thinking of using marble on island...or do you think it would be too cold looking...no warmth! Thanks for your input.. »
kysusan I saw several slabs of this at one fabricator and two slabs at a different one. The first set were breathtaking. It has a translucent quality and depth, with a slightly green cast. The second fabricator's was a bit grayer, but nice also. Their price was a whopping $135/sf installed, not including cutouts or fancy edges. The slabs were huge, tho, and three tops could have been cut (just barely) from one slab.
