Scored beeswax walls - Steven Gambrel applied scored beeswax to the walls of a library. This creates beautilful texture and color.
Please share the process to do this for our home

Cynthia Taylor-Luce I think this would be a case where I'd recommend a textured wallcovering or getting a faux finish artist to imitate it. This is beautiful looking but was it for a show-home for a shocking effect? Do people actually live with bees' wax on their walls? Gosh, the things I don't know...
Guide your design choices by picking a feel for the room: This library evokes warmth and comfort as a counterpoint to the marble-clad entryway preceding it. Gambrel achieves this with walls clad in scored beeswax and lined with cerused oak, and soft orange accents.Tip: Prominent crown molding not only lends the room an architectural gravitas, it also accentuates the height of the ceiling.
