The Classic style is a traditional bowl shaped vessel mount sink.
Made from High Fire Porcelain, each sink is hand thrown on the potter's wheel, bisque fired, glazed, and fired again to over 2300 degrees. This process makes the extremely strong and durable for everyday use.
CL203 is part of our Crystalline Series which contains crystals (bubbly patterns) within the glassy matrix of the glaze. A slow cooling cycle is necessary for the growth and development of the crystals. Size, placement, and number of crystals will vary from sink to sink. These crystals are not applied or painted on, they grown while in the atmosphere of the firing process. Double sink sets are always fired in the same kiln to ensure similar growth of crystals. However, no two sinks will ever be exactly the same. Crazing of the glaze can occur, which is a series of fine lines in the glaze matrix caused by the compression between the glaze and the porcelain body. Crazing is common in high fire porcelain and may appear over time.
We hand craft each sink to meet our product specifications yet still maintain a one-of-a-kind look and feel. Sizes may vary up to 0.5" of our standard dimensions and glazes will have slight variations due to the hand crafted nature of our product. All of our sinks require a vessel grid, umbrella, or pop up style drain for installation.
The care of our product is simple. Everyday soft abrasive household cleaners can be used. Just spray and gently wipe down with a soft cloth or sponge. We do not recommend harsh abrasive cleaners or stiff brushed as they may scratch and dull the surface of the sink.
