We love the way the tv is integrated with the fireplace. We were wondering where the receivers are stored. - Is there a way of not building shelving units on the sides of the fireplace and still cleverly hide those receivers? »
Karen Parham - KMP Interiors They're all over the map. I believe they start around $150 and go up from there. I would consult an A/V person who knows what they're talking about and make sure what your sold works with your existing equipment and doesn't take a master's degree to program.
Hi - 2 Questions. Can you please tell me about the rug on the floor? Can you please tell me about the gray couch in this room with the white piping? Thanks »
RLH Studio The rug is a custom design and custom made overseas and we reupholstered the customer’s existing sofa in a charcoal herringbone with a contrast welt.
Where did you find the Lagos Azul stone for the fireplace? - We are renovating our home in Minneapolis and are having a hard time finding the stone for the fireplace. We love Lago Azul and really want it for our fireplace. I'd really appreciate any leads! Thanks! »
"The family room was built around a lot of pieces my clients already had, including the chest, cocktail table, mirror and more," says Hallberg. She brought in gray and ivory hues from the other rooms, this time paired with light sofas and rich raspberry and sunny yellow accents. "The woman of the house loves these bright and happy colors," says Hallberg. The rug's pattern is a blowup from the ultrasuede Calvin Klein fabric on the back of the breakfast room banquette. The clients already owned the sofa in the foreground; Hallberg had it reupholstered in a charcoal herringbone with a contrasting welt. The clients also already owned the painting.Painting: Ira Yeager; wall paint: Abalescent, Benjamin Moore
