Cynthia Mason Interiors Thanks for asking! The stripes are hand-painted, then tenants in the building were invited to "post on my Wall" ala Facebook. So there are a lot of fun "updates" written on the white stripes.
tishaharris Good to know! I am considering using a large scale pattern, similar to the one you used, for drapes but I'm torn on what width to use and whether to do a pleat. I don't want it so tight that the pattern gets lost. Any suggestions?
In the dining room: In the same way, these Panton S Chairs in grellow are standouts in this room due to their shape and hue. By the way, "grellow" is green-yellow, a word I believe I stole from a CB2 catalog.
These classic Panton chairs are available in many colors, but my favorite is chartreuse. I like this space but don't think it would be as interesting without these chairs. This is a perfect example of the visual impact of this color, bold in a minimal way.
7. Highlight a sculptural shape. The svelte, beautifully curved backs of these upholstered dining chairs deserve to be set off by a contrasting fabric that reinforces the room's palette.
