David Propis I am thinking of buying a "L" shaped ranch and going to expand out or up or both. I love the styling of this home. Did you build up and is there somewhere where I can get interior pictures and a floorplan with dimensions?

This has got a few elements I think would work: the materials break right where we have your materials breaking in the design now... I really think that works proportionality with the scale. These materials include that existing brick you have (as you mentioned yesterday), and above that is an expensive product (as Bob mentioned yesterday) but there is so little of it that it may still work within budget. Love the down lighting with the can lights, the up & down spot lights on the garage, the garage doors. This looks very natural, not forced like so many revised mid-century modern ranch houses do (in my opinion).
