The Gothic touches are inspired by the main house, which is a more traditional Gothic style. This nook off the wine cellar is primarily used as a cozy place for wine tastings. "I wanted to continue Gothic touches through to the pool house but explore how I could modernize it. I wanted touches of it mixed with the cleaner lines."

This cozy nook sits right outside a chilled wine cellar inside the pool house. Walnut paneling lines the walls, while the floor is a patterned wood block (designed by Beckwith) that is finished after installation. The nook was designed in a warm, bright pink to contrast with the icy blue wine cellar. "We wanted it to be a cozy area to sit down and enjoy a bottle of wine, since the wine cellar is cooled," says Ashleigh Farrar, an Interior Design Assistant with Beckwith Interiors.
