bonnmom I'd love to see more pictures of your bathroom. What other type of lighting is in the bathroom? I use a makeup vanity in the bedroom for most of my hair and makeup, that's where the cords drive me crazy. I am going to steal your idea and put electrical outlets in a drawer. Thank you

bonnmom Beckwith, could you tell me what type of lights would be able to go on top of 5 inch deep medicine cabinets 8 feet long? They would have to come out from the wall enough. I can't use pendants because the cabinets have to open. Thank you

Shawn Lagemann No, a sink does not have to be above a 2 door cabinet. You will most often find them that way, or with a false front drawer and 2 doors. This configuration allows easy placement and access to the water supply valves and drain lines, while still allowing space for storage. If the sink were above the drawer stack, the center of the drawers would have to be removed/modified to make room for the plumbing.
