Julie Williams Design This is a standard height island countertop with the top being at 36" and overhanging the back panel 10-14", as it is a radius the overhang depth varies. if you have a 36" high top the minimum overhang for seating should be 12", if you have a dropped bar counter to 30" the minimum overhang should be greater to 15", if you have a raised bar counter to 42" the minimum overhang should be 12"

Julie Williams Design That is a GE Spacemaker, JEM31SA? cant remember the model, but there is only one like this. It is approx 24" wide, 12" tall and 12" deep and comes with a turntable, I do not install in a cabinet but hang from the cabinet above which allows it to blend with the upper cabinets. Once you try to instal it in a cabinet (encased on 4 sides) you need to use the trim kit and put it in a 18" deep cabinet for airflow. You cannot see it, but this is completely open underneath, the trim goes across the front bottom and gives the illusion it is completely encased.
