I love the beam in this room, I'm wondering if it was added or original. I'm trying to figure out how and where to add a couple rustic beams to a new build house »
Anne DeCocco Go to the Houzz search box and type in something like "using ceiling beams" and then click "Ideabooks." There are some great ones! Here's one to get you started:
Rebekah Zaveloff Those definitely look beveled and typically would also be grouted. I'd suggest trying Ann Sacks, Materials Marketing or Urban Archaeology. They all have beveled subway tiles like this.
My cabinets are off-white (whiter than these) and I am hesitant on going with bright white chairs and tile. I thought it might look off but maybe I'm wrong after seeing this picture.
I love pure white and would love to add to my kitchen.
Any thoughts?? »
Anne DeCocco Look on Circa.com, Bellacor.com, Restoration Hardware, Pottery Barn, etc. Very popular fixture at this time. Good keywords would be industrial pendant. Oh, also look on the Houzz Products tab under lighting. Love the help from Houzz!
hood - Do you know the size of the hood, style and maker? I have to order a hood for a 36" range asap and am having a hard time finding one I like. Thank you. »
tile, sink, glass doors in cabs, pendants, beams, wood counter, natural light, stools... like "lighter" kitchens but not wanting white/cream, love it but concerned about upkeep
