These designers started out designing many of their pieces with hair dryer "holsters," a lot like what you'd see at a hair salon. These were usually mounted on the back of vanity doors. But this particular dressing table doesn't have any doors — there are only drawers — so they had to come up with another way for the client to store her hair dryer and curling iron. Making use of one of the large drawers seemed to make the most sense. This pull-out is made out of two dove-tail drawers with a door that connects the two. The designers added a surface to the bottom drawer, and cut two holes into it for a hair dryer and curling iron. For the hair dryer, they put in a rubber holder for gripping different sized hair dryers. Powder-coated steel lines the curling/flat iron holder. The blow dryer and curling iron plug into a box inside the dresser. This helps keep the wires hidden and makes it easy to close the drawer without unplugging everything. This smart design is something these designers have begun doing on request. Salon convenience. Give your hair dryer, curling iron and straightener a designated storage spot that includes outlets. There will be no more worrying about where to stash a hot appliance or tangled cords underneath the sink to deal with.

Have a place for everything. One thing that makes it easier to clean a bathroom is to have a spot for what you want to put away. No thinking about where to place it or having to organize a messy drawer to make room.

3. Hair products and appliances. If you use a lot of tools for your hair on a daily basis, you'll want those in an easy-to-find spot, as well as a way to manage their cords. One of the latest trends has been swiped from salons: custom cabinets that hold hair appliances and even have a place to plug them in. We won't be accomplishing this today, but it's something to think about for your dream-house wish list.

The wires are inside the wall and the outlet box is mounted inside the wall behind through a cutout in the cabinet or is surface mounted in the cabinet with the wiring coming in through the back. Depending on the exact details, sometimes you might use some armored cable running in a corner or at the top of the cabinet directly under the counter. That would be anchored with conduit straps. the electric wire on the power strip will work just like the sprayer for a kitchen faucet. You won't have any problems if it has a clear path but if you have obstructions you'll need to use something to keep the wire clear
