Planet Fur Hi there, the carpet is a so called poly mat (it's made of plastic), this one is already pretty old, but compagnies like Rice sell similar examples! Good luck!
Use a combination of closed and open storage. Playrooms often have a lot of bulky plastic toys that are better suited for closed storage than display, especially if the space is also to be used as a guest retreat. “Use open storage and bookshelves for smaller toys and books, and try to keep the open storage organized by using baskets or bins,” says Driggs.
You can include design-savvy elements like this Kartell FL/Y light in a children's room. In fact, having a single, beautiful focal point can be a nice foil to all the clutter. And, of course, bins. Always bins.

Completely agree with the philosophy that children's rooms should not be too perfect. Design has to work to provide an engaging environment, while helping to coral the clutter, but be accessible to the child.
