Anne DeCocco No hard and fast rules on exterior color, but usually you want one color for the body of the exterior and then another for the trim, to highlight the windows. But if there's anything else you want to highlight, as in the house pictured above, then you add another color. The door can be yet another color, the trim inside the windows, the foundation....
