gregyr1 I saw swings similar to this at the Upper Canada Mall in Newmarket, although I can't remember the store name. It is on the Upper level not far from 'Toys-R-Us'
Vanessa Brunner Hey there gtfoxx! I've heard of a few different ways to deal with this. A rug pad should help considerably, but I've also heard of people using velcro and even double stick tape with great success. Hope that helps!
bepsf There are rug pads specifically made for layering a rug over wall-to-wall carpet - Chat with your local rug dealer and they can recommend the appropriate product for you.
Protect, protect, protect. Replacing wall-to-wall carpet is a pain. Swapping out a rug? Far easier. For rooms prone to random stains (think nurseries and kids' rooms), an extra rug can prevent stains from hitting the carpet... or cover up some that already made their mark.
If you love color and pattern, then more is more! The window treatments in this room add to the bold and vibrant decor.
Tip: Don't limit your search for window treatments. Stores that cater to children and teens have a great selection of curtains and shades that can work in any room.
Hanging a child's art in her own room can be a great final touch to the room design. It's easy to do, and affordable ready-made frames are often on sale. Consider changing out the drawings as new favorites are created to help the room evolve with the child as she grows.
