I'm interested in the corner, but primarily in your base cabinet - Hi Shannon, glad to see you answer questions. Can you please tell me what is in the corner section of that base? I am guessing that it's taking about 24" from each side - but is giving great storage in return. I would appreciate any information that you can provide as I am designing a very small space - one side at 6', one at 7'6". Many thanks, Cameron »
Shannon Poe Not always prompt in answering questions....sorry! Yes, putting the drawer stack on the angle takes up about 24" in this case, but it really depends on how wide the drawer front is. You could come out further and reduce the width of the vanities next to it. This stack compliments the width of the angled door above. Again, sorry I fell behind on answering questions!
Shannon Poe I've designed baths with 24" deep cabinets many times. While the standard depth for a vanity cabinet is 21" deep, this is not a functional rule. a 24" deep cabinet will give you a deeper countertop, which is always nice! Unless you are using custom cabinetry, there will likely be additional costs to increase the depth of a standard vanity.
ptorlucci Do you remember the height and width of the vanity cabinets in the picture. If I go with a vanity width of 21 inches, will the corner cabinet fit?
