mommynexxus this looks like a movie room I saw on teen cribs. The stars twinkled individually and from time to time, it also had a shooting star fly across! Unfortunately, Ihave no idea how it was done.

bepsf Depends on where you live, your existing site conditions, etc...
...but there's a recent article on Yahoo News that says that Home Theaters are among the features that are falling out of favor: They're basically too big, too expensive and too single-purposed for today's home buyers, and they have never added anywhere near the money spent to the value of anyone's home.

Love the ceiling. In an already expensive home theater room like this, instead of twinkling ceiling panels, you might as well go all out and install a matrix of cheap, LCD panels driven by single cheap computer and a device that will spread the computer video across all panels. Imagine the pre/post movie mood-setting special fx.
