Such a beautiful room! What is the vanity finish? - I really love the warmth and richness of this bathroom! I'm trying to gather ideas for my master bath remodel. I'd sure like to know some specifics on the vanity painting. What is the wood type? Do you happen to know the name of the paint and glaze used? Thank you so much! »
Carla Aston | Interior Designer It was a custom faux finish and my faux finisher did those cabinets. It has a bit of a metallic glaze to the finish. I'm sorry I don't know exactly what kind of product they used.
fairytalefree Thank you. I would like to mimic this look for my kitchen, what cabinet color/finish do you think would most resemble the one pictured? Also would you happen to know the color of the tile? I couldn't find that exact one.
woodlandsmom I've asked my painter to duplicate this look with paint and glaze for my kitchen island. He's not sure how to do it. Did you start with a lighter brown paint and add a brown/black glaze? Can you give me any specifics on paint or glaze colors? I love the look.
I would like to know where these vanities came from. I'm guessing they were custom built. They are beautiful and I would like to reproduce this look & style. I am in the midst of a bathroom and it's difficult finding something similar. Thank you. »
I absolutely love the fabric on the cornice. It appears to be the perfect blue/brown color that I've been looking for. Please tell me where I can purchase this fabric or who designed it. Thank you! »
I have purchased chocolate pair vanity and the roman tub skirt is also chocolate pair, my granite top is Colonial Treasure which is on the light side..all fixtures are satin nickle and white roman tub, square white sink, white toilet and white stand up shower with glass doors. I would like ceramic or porcelain flooring and tile for behind roman tub on roman tub platform. I don't want it too look to busy and would like the Traditional look, what color to you suggest for floor tile and wall tile, I also like glass mosaic....please help I just want it too look WOW! »
For a classic feel, choose a freestanding tub. These types of tubs lack the flat edge and storage of built-in units, so consider incorporating a table for bathing supplies, towels or a glass of wine.
