Peg Berens Interior Design LLC There are quite a few, but I can't remember exactly. Visit Fromental Wallcovering's website. The name of this pattern is Cherry Blossom. You can find more information there.
Peg Berens Interior Design LLC This is actually hand painted silk wallpaper! It has a bronzy color underneath with purple lines going horizontally. I bet you can recreate it somehow and it would be lovely.
Deb Amato I would do this as a 2 step process. First paint the wall a color (purple shown) .
There seems to be a panel like effect in gold. Tape with painters tape, in a vertical direction . The distance needs to be equal between tape "stripes'.
Use a gold tone glaze and paint in a horizontal direction. Paint a section about 3 feet long. Then go over it lightly with a soft brush , this removes some of the glaze. Wipe the brush clean after this step. If you look closely the gold is different tones. This depends on how you wipe off the glaze. Good luck : ))
seaweed3 Thank you. I will look them up. I have low ceilings, and it will be perfect! Great room--the glass table, the comfy chairs all on the center piece rug, and of course the paint and window dressings. Very inviting and together it all makes you happy and wanting to stay put. Yum!
What is a Sherwin Williams color that would mimic or be similar to the chair colors but perhaps a lighter shade. I want to create a purple room with the purple being in the bedding and accessories and the walls a more neutral color. I love this color combination. »
Peg Berens Interior Design LLC Hello, the tree is amazing, isn't it? Believe it or not, the entire wall is wallpapered. This covering is by an English company called Fromental. The paper is actually hand painted silk. The tree is painted on the paper and the flower buds are embroidered silk in custom selected thread colors. They appear to glow! This product is quite pricey, but you could achieve a similar look by painting a mural on a faux finished wall. Enjoy!
How to mimic the paint? - I decided i want my bedroom purple with a white accent wall where i will place photos of friends and family. how can i mimic this color? »
In this dining area, the dark, rustic flooring contrasts with the lighter tones of the contemporary chairs. The periwinkle-purple wall color and tree mural also make for a dynamic, eye-catching backdrop.
And we’re back to a more purple-infused periwinkle, painted on the wall with a great texture application that makes the gold radiate. Very cool tree detail added to the wall: It makes this scene feel almost fairy-tale! I’d like to throw some candlelight in here and get totally lost in the aura.
This room presented some unique design challenges, as it is oval and the ceilings are 16 feet high. The mural brings everything together. "Wall murals can take many forms; in this case it is handpainted wallcovering with silk embroidered flowers," says Interior Designer Peg Berens. "In a deliberate effort to draw the eye down and keep it down, I customized the mural on the wallcovering to go no higher than 10'. The tree on the mural was also designed to start just to the right of the sideboard table and gracefully end by the door on the right of the space. The resulting effect draws the eye to the mural itself and keeps the focus where it should be in this unusually shaped room."
MuralsMake your walls your canvas. Murals create a complete environment in a room. For me this simple tree on a purple background feels peaceful and calming. You?

The colors are regal but simple in complimenting one another. The same with the accessory elements for finishing touches. They are not too extravagant. They are simple in line, shape but very eye catching. I love the purple/eggplant looking floor.
